  • Rising Teams are required to complete regular surveys and share feedback about Zebrapad during your membership year. Surveys will be issued monthly and any team that fails to provide a completed Survey for more than 3 consecutive months will have access suspended.

    Based on your responses, your program does not currently meet one or more of the eligibility requirements for a Zebrapad Rising Team sponsorship.

    Our Rising Teams program is designed to help existing speech programs overcome barriers to growth, development, and student opportunity. To qualify, programs must meet all five requirements:

    1. An active speech program: Your program must have at least one participating student and an identified competitive speech program. New and rebuilding programs are welcome!
    2. An adult coach or sponsor: Your program must have an identified adult coach or school/program sponsor.
    3. An identifiable need: Your program must face at least one financial, coaching, or student-access barrier that Zebrapad could help address.
    4. A commitment to participate: Rising Teams must agree to use their membership and provide brief, candid feedback about their experience.
    5. No previous Rising Teams membership: Each program is eligible to receive a Rising Teams sponsorship only once.

    A few things worth knowing: Your team’s size, competitive record, and experience level do not determine eligibility. We’re interested in expanding opportunities for students, not rewarding programs based on their existing success.

    If your circumstances change, you’re welcome to apply in a future season, provided your program has not previously received a Rising Teams membership.
